5 March 2013: Mark has contributed a print - "The Birdwatchers " to the Eight x Eight exhibition at Eden Gallery in Inverness,Scotland. Proceeds from the event go to the very worthwhile Camille's Appeal, supporting the recovery of children with brain tumors.

17 September 2012 : For the second consecutive October, Mark will be exhibiting all new work @ FWCAC, in Fort Worth , Texas. The exhibit will run from 2- 31/October, with an artist's reception on Friday,5 /October, from 6- 9pm. For further information: fwcac.com

26 July 2012: Just announced- "Orphans" a solo exhibition of entirely new paintings and prints from Mark, will show @ the Fort Worth Community Art Center during the month of October. More details to follow...
And... during the month of August, one of Mark's paintings is in the current exhibition -"My Own Time " in the library at UTSouthwest, Dallas,Texas .

5/March 2012: Mark has contributed paintings to two forthcoming exhibitions - Inspired Art- Jonah and the Whale, which runs from 10 April - 19 May @ Studio 1219, in Port Huron Michigan, and - AVAA Regional @ Bob Duncan Center, in Vandergriff Park, Arlington, Texas thru 30 March.

12/September2011: Mark is completing the last remaining works to be included in "The Deserters" exhibition, opening 3/October and running through the 29th. As noted here before, the opening reception is on Friday evening 7/October, 6-9pm. All are welcome to attend.

14/ June 2011: Just announced - "The Deserters," an extensive exhibition of Mark's paintings, prints, drawings and sculpture will be held at the Fort Worth Community Art Center, beginning 3/October, and featured the entire month. The opening reception will be held on Friday, 7/October, from 6-9.
26/ April 2011: Mark is a finalist for the 2011 Hunting Art Prize, to be awarded in Houston on 30/April.

29/ November 2010: Enduring the Going Hence garners a favorable nod in this week's Fort Worth Weekly...
3/November 2010: after a long delay - Enduring the Going Hence , the new recording will be released on the last day of the month (30/November) through The Gate International label . . . Available for purchase from CDbaby, Amazon, iTunes, Napster and the usual music download outlets.
If you find yourself in the state of Virginia between now and 5/December 2010, one of Mark's prints is included in The 2010 Harnett Biennial of American Prints.
Mark is currently working on two separate recordings--Seaworthy Vessels are in Short Supply (initial tracks recorded at The Pond in Ellicott City, Maryland in August, featuring some lovely guitar from Jerel Flynn) and Salt and Firewood--a collection featuring field recordings from three continents.
